Please help us take care of our school fields.
We have recently found paint markings on the grass, displaced soccer goals, and repeated instances of dog waste on campus. These create safety concerns for students and cause costly damage.
Important reminders:
• Dogs are not permitted on school grounds under county ordinance.
• School fields should never be marked—this is considered vandalism.
• Soccer goals are school property and may not be moved.
• Any organized use of school fields must be coordinated through Marci Jefferies (
mjefferies@dsdmail.net | 801-402-5281).

Words from the Herd Wednesday gave us a laugh today when a student paused mid-answer and said, “Oh, brain fart. Excuse me.”
We love those moments when kids feel comfortable enough to think out loud, self-correct, and keep trying. Learning isn’t always smooth—and that’s exactly how it should be!

They will donate 15% of all sales from 5-8 and an additional 10% for all app orders. (So 25% of all mobile orders).

Today’s gem comes from a first grader with very strong opinions about slang history. He walked up to our librarian and asked if she knew who was the first person to say “6–7.” When she said she didn’t, he confidently replied:
“It was God. He made the world in six—almost seven—days, and then rested on the seventh.”
Who knew the most obnoxious trend of 2025 had divine origins?
