Tomorrow at the parade, we will have a table set up with all of our lost and found items. After the parade, they will be moved to the steps at the front of the school. We invite parents and students to check those locations and collect their items.

Thank-You Thursday Today we want to shine the spotlight on Miss Mindy, our amazing librarian! Not only does she keep our library a wonderful place to learn and explore, but she’s always ready to jump in wherever help is needed. She listens, supports, and encourages both students and staff — truly the heart and soul of our school. We are so lucky to have her! #ThankYouThursday #BuffaloPoint #StampedeStrong

Words from the Herd Wednesday Sometimes our Buffalos say it best! One of our 2nd graders, feeling the weight of school expectations, looked at his teacher and declared: "As soon as I get a job, I’m out of here!” We love the honesty, the humor, and the reminder that even our youngest learners are already dreaming about the future. #WordsFromTheHerd #BuffaloPoint

They keep our school looking great, take care of countless behind-the-scenes needs, and even make Fridays extra fun in the cafeteria. Our first graders were getting ready to learn about the skeletal system, and their teacher asked where they’d seen skeletons before. We heard some solid answers—“at the doctor,” “in a museum,” even “in Minecraft.”

Then came the curveballs: “in the wild,” “a real live skeleton,” and “at the beach.”

Sounds like our Buffalo kiddos take some very interesting vacations!

Teaching Tuesday One of the best parts of being at Buffalo Point is that our students teach us, too. Their examples of kindness, teamwork, and service remind us what real learning looks like. This week we’re celebrating how choosing to help others, even when you don’t have to, is one of the most powerful lessons we can all carry with us. Thank you, students, for showing us how to build together every day! #TeachingTuesday #BuildingTogether

Thank You Thursday
As we meet for parent-teacher conferences this week, we want to pause and thank the incredible grownups who partner with us every day—parents, grandparents, and family members who support our students at Buffalo Point.

Your encouragement at home and your involvement at school make all the difference. Together, we are truly Building Together for our kids’ success!

This week’s Words from the Herd Wednesday isn’t about a single phrase that was spoken — it’s about how the love of reading spread. A group of our 6th graders spontaneously gathered in the library and started a read-aloud, and soon others leaned in to listen. The best words are the ones that bring us together. #WordsFromTheHerd #BuildingTogether #StampedeStrong
