We are thrilled to announce that Buffalo Point Elementary will be performing Disney’s Newsies Jr. this year! Based on the hit Broadway musical and the 1992 film, Newsies is an energetic show full of catchy songs, powerful storytelling, and inspiring messages about courage, friendship, and standing up for what’s right.
Mandatory Parent Meeting
September 18 at 5:00. Anyone interested in being a part of the musical cast OR stage crew must attend. Email Mrs. Ganus at hganus@dsdmail.net if you are unable to attend. You will not be cast if you haven't attended the parent meeting OR received approval from Mrs. Ganus to still audition without attending.
Auditions
All 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students are invited to audition!
Audition Dates: September 23 and 24
Location: Buffalo Point Elementary Gym
Callbacks (by invitation only): September 25
Students should come prepared to sing, move, and show off their acting skills. No prior experience is necessary—just enthusiasm and a willingness to try!
