What a fun first two days back. Our kindergartners got to experience school lunch for the first time. Students discovered or rediscovered the fund of gaga ball. It was hot out there, so many students found spots of shade to enjoy. A trio of boys found a very unique way to get to school--pogo sticks!

Teaching Tuesday: Back-to-School Night

The best adventures begin with a great map—and tonight is your chance to get one!

Join us for Back-to-School Night from 5:30–6:30 PM to meet your child's teacher, visit the classroom, and learn about the exciting year ahead.

Afterward, stick around for our PTA Ice Cream Social. It's a great opportunity to meet other families, reconnect with friends, and kick off another fantastic year at Buffalo Point.

Our adventure is about to begin!

For the past several weeks, our staff has been busy preparing classrooms, planning meaningful learning experiences, and getting everything ready to welcome our Buffaloes back to school.
This year, our theme is Adventure Awaits because every school year is filled with new discoveries, new friendships, and opportunities to grow.

Whether your child is joining Buffalo Point for the first time or returning for another year, we can't wait to welcome them back this Thursday!

Adventure is calling...and we can't wait to begin the journey together.

We want to fill our school with Buffalo Point spirit and encourage students to wear their school shirts every Friday throughout the year!
To make sure your student receives the correct size, please complete the T-shirt order form below. You can submit shirt sizes for ALL of your Buffalo Point students on one form.

All submissions are due by August 26th!

A big thank you to our outgoing Student Council members for representing Buffalo Point Elementary in the Syracuse Heritage Days Parade! Even with a small crew of four dedicated boys, they represented the Stampede and showed great school spirit. A special shoutout to Chip, who joined the fun and helped spread Buffalo Point pride along the parade route! Join Davis Reads 45 this summer! Students are challenged to read for 45 days, earning prizes every 5 days and a special end-of-summer event for those who complete the challenge. Pick up books during summer library hours. Families should check with their local elementary school for specific days and times. Regular summer reading helps prevent learning loss and supports continued academic growth. Contact your school or library to get started!

Our sixth graders, the class of 2032, celebrated completing elementary school today. We love seeing their growth and the amazing young people they are becoming. Good luck in junior high.

We got confirmation today that the fire truck is coming at 1:15 tomorrow. Students should bring a towel if they plan to get wet. We will all exit at 1:15 and not reenter the school. Thanks.

We held our annual staff versus sixth grade kickball game. Thank you so much to Syracuse fire department who joined the staff team. They carried us to a victory. Otherwise those sixth graders would've dominated.

Tomorrow after school, we're selling concessions again. We've still got plenty of soda, chips, M&Ms, and Snickers.

Our last PTA meeting of the year is tomorrow at 3:45. We hope to see everyone there.
